At 9:00 am on September 14, 2018, 2018 Yuntai Fund’s Shareholders & Board Meeting was convened successfully in Chengdu Headquarter.

Representatives at the meeting unanimously voted Mr. Weng Yongxi as the fund’s honorable Chairman and Chief Advisor. Mr. Peter (Peng) Zhang was appointed as General Manager.

Several decisions were passed through thorough discussion at the meeting:

-     The Decision to reelect Board of Directors

-     The Decision to elect Chairman of the Board

-     The Decision to reelect Supervisory Board

-     The Decision to reelect Members of Investment Committee

-     The Trial Procedures of Incentive Measures in the Management Team

 Mr. Peter (Peng) Zhang briefed everyone at the meeting the General Report on General Manager’s Work.

 Brief Introduction of Mr. Weng Yongxi

Mr. Weng Yongxi was the former Deputy Director of the Rural Policy Research Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. He is now an entrepreneur and serves as the Deputy Director of the Rural Development Research Fund Management Committee and a visiting researcher at the School of International Studies at Peking University. In the 1980s, Weng Yongxi, together with Wang Qishan, Zhu Jiaming and Huang Jiangnan, was called "the reform of the four gentlemen."

 Brief Introduction of Mr. Peter (Peng) Zhang

Mr. Zhang has a wealth of experience as a professional manager and international business expert. He has worked for large multinational companies for a long time and has more than 10 years of experience in the energy industry and the automotive industry. Mr. Zhang joined Geely Automobile Co., Ltd. as Vice President in February 2007. He was then responsible for the company’s internal control management and international business. He played a key role in Geely’s acquisition of London Taxi Company and Volvo Car Company. After the Volvo acquisition, Mr. Zhang served as one of the Global Board Members of Volvo Cars from 2010 to 2018.

Mr. Zhang was graduated from the Department of Power Machinery of Xi'an Jiaotong University with a bachelor's degree in engineering. He obtained a master and a doctorate degree in economics from Renmin University of China.
